Campus recruitment

As a regular initiator of trainee placement, Bharat Enterprises Construction India has tie-ups with several institutes of repute, such as NICMAR and other Engineering Colleges. There are several trainee streams conducted at steady intervals, some of which are - Management Trainee Scheme for Post Graduate Engineers, Graduate Engineer Trainee Scheme for Graduate Engineers, Diploma Trainee Scheme for Diploma holders, ITI Trainee Scheme, etc. The company also inducts Trainees from Management Institutes.

Construction Job 2022

The trend in salaried jobs has been rising slowly and somewhat erratically during the pandemic months. In 2019-20, last pre-pandemic year, salaried jobs were 86.7 million. These jobs never recovered to their pre-pandemic levels. But they seem headed there.

The best performance since then was 84 million in September and October 2021. This fell to 77 million in November and December 2021. And it has bounced back to about 83 million in January and February 2022.

The recent increase in salaried jobs is reflected in increased employment in the more significant industries, such as mining, metals, chemicals, and machinery. Manufacturing industries added 1.8 million jobs during January and February 2022.

Mining added another 1.9 million. Retail trade, travel and tourism, and financial services added significant jobs in the services sectors. The increase in relatively better-quality jobs in January and February was encouraging. The recent report states that India’s real estate sector will experience around 5% capital value growth in 2022 in the residential segment.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supervise the construction activities on site as per the requirements of the Engineering, Mechanical & technical specification and drawings.

2. Indent materials that are required on site for the construction activities.

3. Prepare daily program in advance in co-ordination with the site foreman / supervisor and request for the necessary resources for carrying out the same.

4. Constantly record the use of construction resources on site and report to the superior.

5. Preparing checklist, pour cards and other records as per the companies QMS system.

6. Preparation of Bar Bending schedule

7. Coordinate with HSE & Quality in order to continually monitor and improve safety, quality and environmental performance.

8. Keep records of daily progress and report it to the site management in the prescribed format.

9. Communicate all site related issues amongst the construction team.

10. Ready the construction site each day the current project by preparing materials, tools and equipment.

11. Apply new project instructions for each job and make adjustment as direction by the construction manager or supervisor.

12. Wear clean safety equipment, such as ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, helmets, and boots that are in good repair.

13. Comply with health and safety regulations when operating equipment or walking on the job site even when not on active duty.

14. Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints.

15. Leave Construction equipment and tools clean, organized, and stored in an orderly fashion after each use.

16. Dispose of debris and hazardous materials according to local environmental standards and regulations.

17. Provide assistance to other team members on various tasks if your duties are completed ahead of schedule.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. ITI/ Diploma/ Engineering/ Polytechnic for Engineering, Mechanical and Technical Department.

2. 10th & 12th For Construction Labour.

3. 0-3 Years of experience in execution of large infrastructure projects.

4. Experience in Expressway/ Thermal/ Nuclear/ Industrial/ Commercial/ Residential project is preferred.
