Infrastructure

Bharat Infrastructure Engineering Limited has significant presence across the infrastructure space with expertise in operating & developing roads, metro rail, airport & real estate.

Bharat Infrastructure Engineering Limited is the largest NHAI concessionaire under build, operate, transfer (BOT) scheme with 21 road projects of 3970 kms, worth Rs 81,500 crore. The projects are operative in urban high traffic growth corridors of Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Noida, Haridwar, Meerut, Lucknow, Surat, Gurugram, Delhi, Bangalore, Jaipur, Indore, Raipur, Patna, Gurgaon, Agra and Pune. All eleven toll road project sites are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

Bharat Infrastructure Engineering Limited is also the first private player in India to execute and operate metro rail projects. Mumbai Metro, Noida Metro, Agra Metro, Kanpur metro, etc, One of the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar (VAG) corridor is the first rail project in Mumbai that provides East to West connectivity to lakhs of commuters. It has reduced the travelling time from 120 mins to 21 mins and improved the travelling experience of commuters.

The Engineering & Construction (E&C) Division of the Company renders E&C turnkey services in the power and infrastructure sectors. E&C offers a single point solution to the execution of power plants including project engineering, construction and commissioning for its clients. Presently, the group owns and operates Noida International airport, Delhi International Airport and Hyderabad International Airport. Further, the company is developing a greenfield airport at Mopa in North Goa and an international greenfield airport at Bhogapuram, Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh. It has also signed a concession agreement with the Government of Karnataka to commission, operationalize and maintain the Civilian Enclave at the Bidar Airport in North Karnataka.

With a total installed capacity of 10,818 MW and 50% market share of the Malaysian grid’s generation capacity, it has significant experience in managing and operating power assets with several thermal power plants, large hydro plants and power distribution business across various countries.
